Meet Our
Staff
Sharon
brings 25 years of business savvy to Eco Design Resources of
Santa Cruz. Along
with her Bachelor's Degree in Business from San Francisco State
University, she completed an additional course of in-depth study
in Preservation of a Sustainable Environment. A lover of all
things outdoors, she enjoys hiking and orienteering, and has
also managed site operations at local historical locations,
providing instruction to children and visitors.
Scott's
work experience and education are a perfect fit for Eco Design
Resources of Santa Cruz. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Regenerative
Planning and Design at Humboldt State University. Scott worked
his way through college as a builder and has witnessed firsthand
the many shortcomings of today’s conventional construction
field. He has also experienced the regulatory side of
development as a Jr. Planner for the Montgomery County, VA
Planning Department. Scott works actively towards an improved
built environment through public outreach, classes in
sustainable construction methods, and recent certification as a
green building professional. His extensive knowledge and
interests in the field include alternative building methods,
socially responsible enterprise, and the promotion of
sustainable communities through eco-effective planning methods.
Heidi
comes to Eco Design Resources of Santa Cruz with a strong
passion for the environment. She graduated from San
Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal
Studies, including a focus on Environmental Sustainability and
Social Justice. In the past she has enjoyed spending her
time teaching children of all ages the wonders of the planet
that we live on, and how to take care of it. Heidi
lives on a working ranch near Half Moon Bay and enjoys
spending her free time with family, and her four-legged friends.
Heidi finds inspiration while hiking through nature and taking
long jaunts on the beach.
Linda
joins the crew after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in
Environmental Economics from UC Santa Cruz. Her work and studies
in conservation with Americorps and as a local water sampler for
the University helped guide her focus towards sustainable
building. She's continued
expanding her education in construction and energy management,
and has also worked for a local sustainable construction
company. Linda brings pragmatism and the necessary tools to
advise our customers in the ways of green building and design.
