PG&E and the Internal Revenue Service are offering INCENTIVES for people to do the "green thing." Many things your home needs are eligible. Whether you are planning to install energy efficient windows or doors, insulation, heating/cooling system, a roof, or even appliances, you may be eligible for a REBATE or TAX CREDIT. Act sustainably, and get paid to do it!

U.S. Department of Energy - The Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPACT)

Effective 1/1/06 thru 12/31/07

Provides up to $500

Applies to energy efficient windows, doors, roofs, heating and cooling equipment.

EPACT also provides up to $2,000 for photovoltaic or solar water heating equipment.
